Skin Care has been a big part of my self care journey! It’s a ritual I do every morning and every night. The regimen is much more than just making my skin look better. It reminds me that taking care of myself and this body I was given is a priority and that I am worthy of giving myself the love and care I deserve. It’s kind of sacred to me.

After endless nights of research and deep dives and much trial and error over the years, I have finally come up with a skin care regimen that works for me. Of course I am also always updating it and tweeking it for when my skin care needs change as well. People started noticing my skin and I get asked all the time about what I do for it. I find it kinda funny, but everyone who knows me considers me the ‘expert’ in skin care.

I think my background in nursing has been fundamental in the way that I do my research and constantly think about the side effects and effectiveness of the products and how they work together. My assessment skills I’ve learned in nursing naturally carry over to skin care assessments for the people who want my help with their skin.

I have been helping so many people I come across in life with their skin care regimens and recommending what I think may work for their skin type and issues. I made a PDF with images, links, and instructions to give to my friends to make my life easier when people ask me to help with their skin. But I found it to be too generic and not detailed enough.
